Long before Satan became part of history by being the bright light in the universe it was God who created everything.
Although Satan has powers of his own he wasn't here first God was and there is no way to compare.
Satan was created like every human being and every animal and his powers don't compare to God's.
God is indeed more powerful than Satan.
