Jesus is Powerful

Jesus Christ walked on water he turned water into wine but more importantly Satan and water don't mix. It is fire to him which he is accustomed to in Hell. At the end of the world Satan will be chained to a lake of fire for 1000 years. Jesus could go down there to pass judgment on him and Satan would be powerless not only against Jesus but God his former father who originally sent him there. 

40 or 1000

Jesus Christ walked in the desert 40 days and nights I have been in the Sinai desert it's extremely hot during the day and freezing at night and ye he did this 40 days and 40 nights on his own. Jesus did not tempt his fathers powers when Satan tempted him. Never the less Jesus made it on his own with the strength he had even way back in that century.

Satan was cast into Hell for one thousand years and despite his past powers he could not free himself from Hell it was God who let him loose after the 1,000 years were up Satan couldn't go out on his own.
