When people enter the after life into God's Kingdom they are all rewarded for their works on earth and are theirs to keep not just for a little while but for eternity. Satan on the other hand has powers to give human beings the hearts of their desires. Money, power as well as Fame in return for selling their souls. But once their time is over on earth they are sent to Hell and they can't have the things they all craved because Satan won't let them have what they asked for ever.
